By following these 13 procedures, we will beautify your home and maintain your investment for years to come. 

 

Numbers 1-6 are the exterior surface PREPARATION PHASE.  No matter which paint you choose, if your home is not prepared properly, it will not last!

 

Our proven process:

 

  1. Remove shutters, address numbers, and anything else that does not get painted.

  2. Power-wash house with TSP (cleaner) and bleach to mitigate mold and mildew, oxidation, loose paint, dirt or grime.

  3. Inspect your house for any rotten wood and repair any that is needed.

  4. Hand scrape any other loose paint.

  5. Prime all bare wood with a bonding primer.

  6. Caulk all joints, cracks; around doors, windows, on top of trim, nail holes, and corners with Top gun Elastomeric Lifetime caulk (expands and contracts)

  7. Tape and paper all windows.

  8. Put tarps wherever we are painting; decks, bushes, driveway, etc.

  9. Brush & Roll or Spray & Back-Roll siding depends on application.

  10. Spray shutters and front door for a smooth as glass look.

  11. Face out all front trim with 2 coats of lifetime paint.

  12. We provide the option for FREE address numbers.

  13. We will leave any leftover paint with you.
